Qingdao to Host Electronics, Home Appliances Expo
An international exposition of electronic products and home appliances will be held in this coastal city in East China's Shandong Province, from June 18 to 22.

According to a press conference held in Beijing Thursday, the exposition will cover a floor space of 25,000 square meters and be divided into the home appliances, electronic information products and parts, and components zones.

So far, more than 100 purchasing groups have signed up for the event, including 68 from 30-odd foreign countries and regions.

More than 300 companies, including some on the Fortune 500 list, have entered their names as exhibitors. Major exhibits will include TV sets, stereo equipment, computers, mobile phones, refrigerators, refrigerators, air-conditioners, and office and home automation products.

During the exposition, a seminar will be held to discuss the impact of China's WTO entry on this country's home appliances industry.
