On August 21, experts in architecture and cultural relics from Beijing and leaders of Provincial Planning Commission, Provincial Construction Development, Provincial Tourism Bureau and Provincial Culture Bureau gathered in Guanghan, discussing Programs on Protection of Sanxingdui and Development of Guanghan's Tourism.
The program was also the detailed rules that must be finished before Sanxingdui's competing for world cultural heritage. According to experts, as China's important archeological discovery, Sanxingdui shocked the whole world.
All of the Unearthed 4,000 cultural relics were treasures of Ba and Shu Culture, containing rich historical and cultural information. It was necessary to join world cultural heritage to completely show the relics to people.
Experts also pointed out the gaps. State Culture Bureau paid great attention to the competing for world cultural heritage. Related work would be started immediately when the program was approved.
