Ex-TV Star Gets Life for Tea-house Murder

Hong Kong actor-turned-businessman Yeung Ka-on has been jailed for life by a Shenzhen court for his role in the murder of a Hong Kong businessman in 2002.
 
Harry Lam Hon-lit was shot dead as he ate breakfast in the Lu Yu Tea House in Stanley Street, Hong Kong.

The court found that Yeung had masterminded the killing and instructed others in planning it.

Yeung is an actor popular among those who grew up in the golden era of Hong Kong television in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His best-known role to mainland audience was that of Lu Da'an in the TV series Huo Yuanjia.
