8. Kakadu Wetlands, Australia

The wetlands of Kakadu of Australia's National Parks is the paradise of more than sixty kinds of birds. Paperbark forests, which sustain honeyeaters, lorikeets, and other nectar-feeding birds, lie along its flood plains. Every year, thousands of birds will stay here. However, the sea water intrudes the fertile wetland with the rising sea level, which has resulted in the death of forest and salinization of earth. The home of birds is increasingly shrinking.
