A 7.6-magnitude quake jolted Santa Cruz Islands at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 11.2 degrees south latitude and 165.0 degrees east longitude, the center said.
