Adjust font size:

A heavy medical supply truck made its debut at the Beijing Emergency Medical Center on Tuesday.

The heavy medical supply truck can be used for public emergencies, the Beijing Evening News reported.

When unfolded, the Mercedes-Benz van can stretch to 9.2 meters long and doctors will be able to conduct surgeries in its well-equipped operation room.

The van has two sets of power supply systems and can provide illumination when it is parked in an evacuation ground.

The medical supply it carries includes three giant air tents and enough medical equipment/supplies to carry out first aid operations for 100 people.
