Adjust font size:

Another small cyclone is possibly forming as a low pressure area has developed in the northern part of the Andaman Sea and its associated areas of the middle-east part of the Bay of Bengal, according to the state radio in a special weather forecast Wednesday noon.

Monsoon wind will be strong in the Andaman Sea and the southern part of the Bay of Bengal, the state-run Meteorology and Hydrology Department (MHD) was quoted as saying.

In the next 24 hours up to Thursday noon, there will be heavy rainfall in Myanmar's Mon, southern Rakhine, Yangon, Bago and Ayeyawaddy states and divisions with a degree of certainty of 80 percent.
