Shanghai Shinan Water Undertaking has adopted various measures to guarantee water quality during the Olympic Games.

Shanghai Municipality, one of the cities co-hosting the Olympic Football tournament, has attached great importance to water quality during the Games. Shinan Water Undertaking has worked with the relevant departments to set up 5 water sampling spots and 11 fire hydrant sampling spots to monitor and test water quality around the clock. Personnel are on call at all times in case of emergencies.

To date, these measures have achieved the desired effect and the quality of water in Shanghai is continuing to meet standards.
