Macao launches energy conservation activities in local schools
Adjust font size:

To raise the awareness of energy saving among the local young people, a series of events dedicated to energy conservation have been launched (SAR) in over 50 primary and secondary Macao schools, the Macao Daily Times reported on Tuesday.

This is the second series of such events, which include interactive programs, Q&A games and thematic exhibitions. This year's activities, with the main theme of "Let's save energy", were sponsored by the SAR's Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, the Macao Education Association and the Macao Catholic School Association, the daily said.

Through this year's promotional activities on energy conservation, the authorities hoped that energy conservation message can be further disseminated across schools and, transversely, to families and the general community, the daily said, quoting a press release from the SAR's Office for the Development of Energy Sector.
