Chinese President appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed three new ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

Sun Guoxiang was appointed ambassador to Vietnam, replacing Hu Qianwen.

Qiu Guohong was appointed ambassador to Nepal, replacing Zheng Xianglin.

Tong Mingtao was appointed ambassador to Lithuania, replacing Yang Xiuping, female.
