Confirmed A/H1N1 cases top 2,000 in Chinese mainland

The number of confirmed A/H1N1 cases on the Chinese mainland topped 2,000 Wednesday, with no deaths or serious cases reported, according to the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Of the total 2,003 confirmed cases, 1,853 had recovered, said a statement on the MOH website.

A total of 73 new cases were confirmed from Monday to Wednesday, 30 of whom arrived from outside of China and the rest were infected within the country, the MOH reported.
