The Ministry of Health (MOH) Thursday vowed to punish officials who underreport the A/H1N1 flu pandemic following criticism from a prominent medical expert who cast doubt on China's official death toll from the disease.
The A/H1N1 influenza cases accounted for 89.4 percent of all flu cases reported in the Chinese mainland last week, almost 3 percentage points higher than the figure of the previous week,Ministry of Health said Wednesday.
