Macao reported 60 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Friday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 2,247 so far.

The newly confirmed cases comprised 30 male patients and 30 female patients whose ages ranged from seven months to 58 years, Macao's Health Bureau said.

Statistics from the Bureau showed that some 12 patients who tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus were still receiving medical treatments at local hospitals, and their health conditions, except for three seriously-ill patients, remained stable.
