A/H1N1 death toll now 325 on Chinese mainland

The number of people who have died from A/H1N1 flu on the Chinese mainland has risen to 325 with 125 in the last week alone, China's Ministry of Health announced Wednesday, chinanews.com.cn reported.

The number of confirmed A/H1N1 cases in one week is now 9,737 with 3,225 requiring treatment in hospital, figures released for the week November 30 to December 6 reveal.

A/H1N1 flu cases made up 90.3 percent of total flu cases, a 0.7 percent drop compared to the previous week.

So far the total number of reported cases is 102,641.
