China, Hungary Pledge to Enhance Bilateral Relations

Chinese and Hungarian foreign ministers held talks Wednesday afternoon, pledging to enhance bilateral friendly partnership of cooperation.

 

Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said during the talks that China and Hungary have witnessed increasing contacts by leaders of the two countries and enhanced political trust since the two countries established friendly partnership of cooperation.

The two sides have achieved fruitful cooperation in various fields, maintained close contacts and given mutual support in international organizations, Li said.

 

China speaks highly of Hungary's adherence to the one-China policy and will work with Hungary to push forward bilateral ties continuously, he said.

 

Goncz Kinga, Hungarian foreign minister, said the Hungarian government highly values the relations with China, and is willing to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

 

She also stressed that Hungary will stick to the one-China policy.

 

The two ministers also exchanged views on issues of common concern.
