UAE vice-president kicks off China visit

The United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s Vice-president and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also ruler of Dubai emirate arrived in Beijing on Monday, kicking off a four-day official visit to China.

Mohammed came to visit the country at the invitation of the Chinese government.

During his stay in the country, Mohammed will meet Chinese President Hu Jintao and Vice-president Xi Jinping and hold talks with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Apart from Beijing, Mohammed will also visit Shanghai and attend a China-UAE economic and trade forum.
