Adjust font size:

A parliamentary friendship group between Algeria and China was established in Algiers on Monday.

Mohamed Djemai, vice president of the Algerian National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, expressed his appreciation of the traditional friendly bilateral ties between Algeria and China.

The Algerian parliament will, as always, contribute to the cooperation between Algeria and China, he said.

Ling Jun, charge-de-affaires of the Chinese embassy in Algeria, congratulated the establishment of the group and expressed the hope that the two countries will continue to strengthen exchanges between their parliaments.

The two countries should also work together to deepen their strategic relations, he said.
