Two students shot in US vocational school
Adjust font size:

Two students were shot at a school on Tuesday in the U.S. capital of the District of Columbia, a local TV reported.

According to the ABC 7 Channel, a female and a male were gunned down around 2 p.m. at the Excel Institute, a vocational school, but both of them are considered not in the serious situation.

The shooter, also a student, shot the male inside the school building and then shot the female outside the school before he hijacked a car and drove away, the report said.

D.C. Police told the TV that the shooter was finally apprehended after hitting two cars and injuring two persons, a police officer and a pregnant woman.

"The only information I have is that he was very agitated when he arrived at the school and is a student here and opened fire inside," D.C. police chief Cathy Lanier said.
