Jordan ready to send field hospital to quake-hit China

Jordan is ready to send an integrated field hospital to quake-hit China for emergency medical aid, Jordan's King Abdullah II said late Monday.

The king also expressed his deep condolences to the victims' families and said Jordan stands by the the Chinese people in their great loss.

A 7.8-magnitude quake jolted Wenchuan County of China's southwestern Sichuan province at 2:28 p.m. (0628 GMT) Monday, claiming thousands of lives in eight affected provinces and municipalities.
