N Korea to boost cooperation with China in all fields

North Korea will boost friendship and cooperation in all fields with China, vice foreign minister of the country said Wednesday.

Kim Yong Il said during a reception at the Chinese embassy that North Korea-China friendship and cooperation continued to develop in this complicated world.

The next year will be the 60th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, Kim said. North Korea would strengthen friendship and cooperation with China in every field.

Chinese Ambassador Liu Xiaoming said China-North Korea relations are witnessing good opportunities to develop. China will push further the friendship and cooperation with North Korea.

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping has just paid a good-will visit to North Korea on June 17-19. The two countries have signed a series of agreements on trade, transportation and aviation.
