Supreme Head of State of Malaysia Mizan Zainal Abidin arrived in Xi'an, capital of China's northwestern Shaanxi Province on Sunday after attending the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Soon after his arrival, he visited the famous Terra Cotta Warrior Museum.

"The Terra Cotta Warriors were so amazing that I felt shocked by them,"said Mizan, who expressed wish to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism and culture.

Shaanxi governor Yuan Chunqing said Shaanxi and Malaysia have enjoyed a long history of friendly cooperation. The two sides still have expansive space for cooperation in the fields such as economic and trade, investment and cultural exchange.

He hoped the two sides would achieve win-win results.

Mizan thanked the hospitality of the Shaanxi governor and its people, expressing wish to further promote the communication and cooperation of the two sides.

During his stay in Xi'an, Mizan also visited the historic Grand Mosque and did service there.
