Chinese vice premier meets German FM

Visiting Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang met in Hamburg on Wednesday with German Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, vowing to boost the relations between China and Germany.

According to Chinese diplomats, during their meeting the two leaders had exchanged views on promoting the friendly cooperative ties between the two countries.

On Wednesday afternoon, Steinmeier acommpanied Zhang to visit the Airbus plant in the suburb of Hamburg, and on Wednesday evening, both of them attended the opening ceremony of the third meeting of the China-Europe Forum.
