President of Guinea Bissau starts China visit

Joao Bernardo Vieira, president of Guinea Bissau arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, starting his visit to China.

Joao Bernardo Vieira, who visited Beijing at the invitation of the Chinese government, will meet top Chinese leaders and attend the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games on Wednesday.

He will stay in China from September 16 to 19, according to sources with the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
