Visa-free for Singaporeans
Adjust font size:

From September 19, Singaporeans who intend to travel to China for 15 days or less will no longer require a visa, Singapore's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement the ministry and Singapore's embassy in Beijing have been informed by the Chinese authorities that China will reinstate the visa-free facility, which was suspended from July 1 this year.

The move was part of security measures for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
