Venezuelan President starts China visit

Venezuelan President Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias arrived in Beijing on Tuesday morning, starting a three-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

According to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu, during the visit, Hu will hold talks with Chavez. Some other Chinese leaders will meet with him.

The two countries are expected to sign documents on judicial issues, sports and quality supervision and inspection during the President's visit.
