Senior CPC official meets DPRK guests

Wang Jiarui, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met here Tuesday with a delegation from the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The good-will delegation, is led by Ri Sung Ho, deputy director of the administration leadership department of the WPK central committee.

When meeting with Ri, Wang, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, hailed the traditional friendship and close cooperation between the two countries and peoples.

Wang said the Chinese side will work with the DPRK comrades to continue to push forward the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries, and commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as well as the Year of Sino-DPRK Friendship next year with fruitful cooperation.

Ri echoed Wang as saying that to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the CPC and the WPK is a steady stance of the WPK.

Ri also briefed Wang with the domestic situation of DPRK.
