Vietnam and China will jointly hold a grand celebration ceremony on the successful completion of land border demarcation in the last week of February, said Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Dzung in Hanoi on Thursday.

China and Vietnam completed the work of land border demarcation and erecting land border markers along the entire length of their land borders at the end of last year.

The successful completion is a historical event in bilateral relations, said Dzung at a press conference.

This year, China and Vietnam will conduct negotiation on the management of land border areas and border gates, he said.
