Adjust font size:

At least 13 people were killed and six others were injured in a suspected U.S. drone strike early Saturday morning on a village house in a Pakistani tribal area bordering Afghanistan.

Five women, five children, two relatives of tribesman Husain and the owner himself were killed when his house was completely destroyed in the suspected U.S. attack on Taliban militants' hideouts, according to the private NNI news agency and some TV channels.

They quoted sources as saying that three missiles were fired in the strike supposed to target the Taliban militants at the Dand village of the Data Khel area of Miranshah, the major town of Pakistan's North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan.
