The International Office of Chinese Language Council and the Washington Education Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation in Language Education

On September 19, 2006, during the visit of Mrs. Chen Zhili, the Chinese State Councilor, to America, the International Office of Chinese Language Council and the Washington Education Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation in Language Education. Public schools in Washington D.C. plan to introduce Chinese teaching project in its curriculum, providing with students in Washington D.C. the opportunity to study Chinese in middle school.
