China, Jamaica to institutionalize consultations

China and Jamaica will institutionalize consultations between officials of the two countries' foreign ministries, according to a press release from Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

The announcement came after talks between Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Li Jinzhang and Permanent Secretary of Jamaica's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Douglas Anthony Clive Saunders.

Saunders was in Beijing as part of five-day visit between April 5 to 9.
