Sun Bigan, China's Special Envoy on the Middle East, will attend the Palestinian Investor's Conference held in Bethlehem, Palestine from May 21 to 23 at the invitation of the Palestinian National Authority, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang on Thursday.

After the conference, Sun will visit Egypt and Russia, said Qin at a regular press conference.

He said the aim of Sun's foreign tour is to get access to the latest developments of the Middle-East issue and exchange views with parties concerned in a bid to promote reconciliation and talks between Israel and Palestine.
