Dutch PM to visit China

Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende will visit China from Oct. 23 to 29 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced at a regular press conference Thursday.

During the stay in China, Balkenende will attend the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM7), which is scheduled to be held from Oct. 24 to 25, according to Qin.
