12 people killed in Pakistan missile attack
Adjust font size:

Up to 12 militants were killed in a missile attack in northwestern Pakistan's tribal area on Tuesday, local TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.

The missile strike took place in Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan.

It was not clear who fired the missile, but local witnesses said the missile could possibly be fired from a mountain in Afghanistan.

The area was close to the region of Afghan where US-led coalition forces are fighting Taliban militants.

There is still no official confirmation about the missile attack.
