New Israeli airstrikes bomb Gaza Strip

Israeli warplane carried out a series of intensive airstrikes on several targets in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, witnesses said.

According to the witnesses, the airstrikes has bombed on targets in towns of Khan Younis and Rafah in the Gaza Strip and many of the targets belong to the Islamic Resistance Movement ( Hamas) were destroyed.

Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the Palestinian Health Ministry, said that 30 Palestinians were killed and 150 others wounded since the Israeli troops launched the ground operation last night.

The ground attack in the Gaza Strip is still going on. The witnesses said fights between Hamas militants and Israeli soldiers were fierce.

Israeli troops entered the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, launching ground invasion against the coastal enclave following eight days of intensive air strikes, targeting buildings including mosques, houses and Hamas security installations.
