Top Chinese leaders meet Peruvian President

Top Chinese legislator Wu Bangguo and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held separate meetings in Beijing on Thursday with Peruvian President Alan Garcia, vowing to further bilateral cooperation.

Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), said that China and Peru, as reliable friends, enjoyed frequent high-level visits and increasing exchanges in politics, trade, culture, science, technology, tourism and other areas.
