Clashes in Pakistan's tribal region leaves 13 dead

Up to 13 people were killed in a fresh round of clashes in Pakistan's tribal region on Saturday, private Geo TV channel reported.

The clashes continued for the tenth day in different areas of the Kurram tribal agency and heavy and automatic weapons were used, said the report.

As many as 13 people including 11 extremists were killed and 15 others injured in the clashes.

A total of 168 people have been killed and 250 others suffered injuries in the clashes which erupted between the two rival groups 10 days ago, according to the DAWN NEWS TV channel.
