Adjust font size:

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DRPK) is now fully ready to hold a simultaneous census, the official KCNA news quoted a statistic official as saying on Saturday.

The census will be held from October 1 to 15 across the country, the KCNA said.

A well-organized central commanding system for the simultaneous census has been established, and the questionnaire related with the census has already been distributed, said Kim Kon Do, a section chief of the Central Statistics Bureau.

The census will be undertaken with each family as a unit, Kim said.
