South Korea says DPRK proposes military talks

The South Korean Defense Ministry said the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) proposed on Friday to hold inter-Korean working-level military talks.

The South Korean government will hold a meeting to decide whether to accept the offer, the ministry said.

South Korean and DPRK military officials held a working-level military talks last month but failed to reach any agreements.
