Villagers of Gaoling Village make up for the Shehuo show of Lantern Festival celebrations to be held at downtown Longxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009. Shehuo, evolved through history and matured in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, is a kind of variety show performed outdoors by local farmers during the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival (the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar).
