Chinese wins all medals in men's shot put of Olympic test event

Chinese athletes won Thursday evening all medals of men's shot put at the China Athletics Open, a test event for Beijing Olympics.

Yao Yongguang won the gold at 18.98 meters. The silver and bronze went to Tian Yingchun and Wang Like, at 18.90 meters and 18.40 meters respectively.

Yao said, "I'm quite disappointed that I haven't qualified into the Olympics and I'll train harder and compete for an Olympic slot in June."

The silver medalist Tian said, "I'm very satisfied with the field, it made me extremely excited."

The 19-year-old Wang said, "I still have a long way to go to be up to the Olympic level."
