No. 1 Lin Dan outplayed No. 2 Bao Chunlai 21-19, 21-14 to clinch the title at the men's singles final of the 2007 International Badminton Invitational Tournament Sunday evening. Bao took the silver medal, while the bronze medal went to Nguyen Tien Minh of Vietnam. It happened to be Lin Dan's birthday on Sunday, and the gold medal was a lovely birthday present.
