Rumyana Neykova from Bulgaria claimed the Women's Single Sculls title at the Beijing Olympics on Saturday, clocking seven minutes and 22.34 seconds in the final.

Michelle Guerette from the United States took the sliver in 7:22.78, while Ekaterina Karsten from Belarus got the bronze in 7:23.98.
