The Turkish largest city of Istanbul is expected to host the 2008 Beijing Olympics Torch Run on April 3.

According to the Turkish National Olympics Committee (TMOK), a press conference will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday regarding the 2008 Beijing Olympics Torch Run in Istanbul.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics Torch Run involves 22,000 carriers and will cover 137,000 kilometers in five continents within 130 days.

The slogan for the run is "Burn the fire, share your dream".
