15 more Finnish athletes selected for Beijing Olympics

The Board of the Finnish Olympic Committee nominated 15 more athletes to the Finnish team in Beijing 2008, said sources from the committee on Sunday.

Quota places were filled in equestrian, badminton and sailing. Two athletes were also nominated in canoeing and one in athletics.

A total of 35 Finnish athletes have been selected for Beijing 2008 so far. The estimated size of the Finnish Olympic team will be 60 to 70 athletes. The last selection date will be July 21.
