Guerrero to run torch relay in Buenos Aires

Olympic rowing champion Eduardo Guerrero will participate in the Beijing Olympic torch relay in Buenos Aires on Friday.

Guerrero, who won the gold medal in the Helsinki Olympics in 1952, will stand for Argentine athletes to run in the relay in which 80 runners are set to cover 13.8 kilometers.

Emanuel Rego, member of Athens Olympic volleyball champion team in 2004, will represent Brazil in the relay.

The Olympic flame arrived in Buenos Aires on Thursday.
