Yang Le, a 6-year-old girl, practises on the balance beam in a gymnastics school of Xiantao, city of central China's Hubei Province, on Oct. 16, 2009. This gymnastic school ever produced a number of world-class gymnastics athletes, such as Li Xiaoshuang, Li Dashuang, Yang Wei and Zheng Lihui. During the 25 to 28 summer Olympics, gymnasts from Xiantao, renowned as China's "home of gymnastics", grabbed a total of 7 gold medals for the nation and this school was awarded a tablet carved with "cradle of world champions" by China's General Administration of Sport. Yang Le, deeply influenced by Olympic champion uncle Yang Wei, was fascinated with gymnastics. Her passion for the gymnastics led her to this school when she was only 3 years old. Yang Le was diligent and completely devoted herself into the daily training. As Yang Le told, she always regarded uncle Yang Wei as her idol and hoped to become such an excellent athlete as him. Although she haven't got any good place in the competitions till now, Yang Le still kept dreams and full confidence for the future. Her great efforts and faith made it reasonable for us to believe that the baby swallow was spreading the wings from here, and going to fly higher, maybe one day to the height of the world.[Xinhua]
