A bus is completely burned by the blaze caused by an explosion at a plastics factory on Mufu East Road, Qixia district in northern Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province, July 28, 2010. The bus was passing by the area when it was hit by the explosion, at 10:10 am, and many passengers were injured. An initial investigation showed that a gas leak triggered the blast and a 100-meter radius around the plant was seriously damaged. Authorities could not immediately give the number of casualties, but local media said more than 300 people were hospitalized and at least 50 people seriously injured. [Xinhua]
