The Xiaolangdi Reservoir on the Yellow River is seen discharging flood and sand in Jiyuan, Central China's Henan province, August 16, 2010. The operation started on August 11 was to ensure the flood control in the lower reaches of the Yellow River as many tributaries of the river are flooded due to the heavy rains these days.
