Chinese train breaks speed record in trial

A train of China Railway High-Speed (CRH) is ready for a test running at a railway station in Xuzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, Dec. 3, 2010. In September, the China-made CRH380A train hit a speed of 416.6 kilometers per hour on a test run to set a new world train speed record. It is expected to exceed the record at this test running, which will be held at a section of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed railway. [Xinhua]
