A technician checks the mature tomatoes in a model agricultural base of COFCO Tunhe Co., Ltd. in Changji Prefecture, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Aug. 6, 2011. With the arrival of tomato harvest season, agricultural food producers like the Xinjiang-based food manufacturer COFCO Tunhe Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China's largest agricultural food producer COFCO Co., Ltd., has started their harvest here. The tomato output in Xinjiang accounts for more than 70 percent of the national total and the region is able to annually export over 700,000 metric tons of tomato products like catch-up to more than 100 countries and regions.
